The most beautiful Villages of the World
Created in 2012 in Gordes (France), the Federation of the Most beautiful Villages of the World gathers the national networks of Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Japan, China, Russia, Lebanon and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Based on quality including the village and its landscape, these associations share their efforts and experiences to defend sustainable development applied to these exceptional places. Along with the active members, these five associations represent more than 1000 villages certified for their beauty and excellence.
